MeLo-X Madness!

Maxwell BLACKsummers'night Instrumental Remix EP CoverIt’s been too long since I last posted on my number one brooklyn boopiece, Melo-X. There isn’t enough room in this restrictive white box to comment on all the projects he’s been busy grinding on so let’s highlight a few. First, the video clip featured above is an introduction to “MeLo-X.tv” which will take you behind the scenes of his fun, exciting and hyperactive world. This includes (but not limited to) raw footage from rehearsals, beat making, performance extravaganzas, DJ sets, and general kick it sessions with other characters from around the way. I’m personally hype for what’s to come because this teaser alone makes me laugh every time (I’m a sucker for bloopers, it’s the quickest way to establish intimacy with the viewer, nahmsayin?)…In other news, MeLo recently released a dope remix of Maxwell’s orgasmic, emotionally potent album BLACKsummers’night that I’ve had on heavy rotation. My favorite track is “The Highest” (track two) — it adds a little kick to Maxwell’s signature smooth and sexy sound. You can’t go wrong with a MeLo/Maxwell collaboration. Maxwell personally bigged it up via Twitter so it’s received the official stamp of approval from the original source. Now for all you latecomers, get to downloading this remix and stay tuned for more MeLo-X madness!
