Medicine For Melancholy

screens_feature9Medicine for Melancholy is “a love story of bikes and one-night stands told through two African-American twenty-somethings dealing with issues of class, identity, and the evolving conundrum of being a minority in rapidly gentrifying San Francisco—a city with the smallest proportional black population of any other major American city.” Via the homie James Dewey. This flick opens January 31 and I CAN’T WAIT! Who can deny an emo love story that follows two young “indie” people of color in the city I currently inhabit? ALSO, who can deny any flick that features The Daily Show’s very own, Wyatt Cenac?!?! Hopefully, i’ll get the chance to see it @ Kabuki sometime soon and blog post-viewing. Everyone is welcome to offer their own review or initial reaction to the trailer! I have to admit, there have been a slew of quality movies coming out (namely Slumdog Millionaire and The Wrestler), I’m about to peep Milk (I know, mad late) but I think we should check out this film next! Peep:
