I have been anxiously awaiting the unveiling of their new line and revamped website so take advantage of living in New York and cop the products before anyone else can! TWO: Marc Bamuthi Joseph’s show “the break/s” (a “ riveting, in-your-face multimedia journey interweaving Joseph’s personal story with the history of hip-hop expressed through verse, contemporary dance and video”) is premiering in New York TONIGHT Tuesday September 23 @ NYU Skirball Center as part of the Hip Hop Theater Festival. Here is the flier with more specific info on show times and ticket locations, DO NOT MISS THIS!!! I haven’t seen it yet but I know it’s a hands down smash hit:

FOUR: For all the Bay Heads come out to The Intersection in Frisco THIS FRIDAY September 26 for the Opening Reception of Evan Bissel’s show: “somewhere in advance of nowhere*: youth, imagination and transformation”. The Reception will be held from 6-9pm and open to the public until November 22 (Gallery Hours: Wednesdays – Saturdays 12-5 pm, FREE). Check it out, I’ll be there:

FIVE: After hitting up The Intersection for Evan’s show head over to The Mission Cultural Center to catch The Welfare Poets hit the stage with Ise Lyfe and other Bay Area local artists. I definitely plan on checking this out and getting my dance on!:
